Campbell University is based in North Carolina, offering subjects in the arts and sciences. The university’s main campus is located in a small village called Buies Creek, however its law school is now separate having moved to a new campus in the state capital of Raleigh.

Campbell offers over 100 different subjects, which include: business, education, pharmaceutical science, law, pharmacy, physical therapy, and medicine.

The university also offers study abroad opportunities for many of its courses which offer students to build their skills at other class universities around the world.

Campbell University also has an Adult and Online Education programme with an online campus as well as campuses in Fort Bragg, Camp Lejune, and Raleigh.

The university is a part of NCAA Division I across 18 different sports. The Lady Camels' swim team is a member of the Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA), while the men's wrestling team is an associate member of the Southern Conference. Men’s sports teams include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf and soccer, while women’s sports teams include basketball, cheerleading, soccer, swimming, and track.

Campbell University has a yearbook – The Pine Burr – which is published every year while The Lyricist is the university’s literary magazine featuring poetry and prose from students. Meanwhile The Campbell Times is a student newspaper published bi-monthly, and WCCE-FM is a student-run radio station.

Notable alumni include Paul Green, recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Cal Koonce, former Major League Baseball pitcher and Campbell's all-time winningest baseball coach, and Norman Adrian Wiggins, former president and chancellor of the university.
